Kraftstofftanks für Nutzfahrzeuge, Drucklufttanks und Kryotanks

SAG Austria, based in Lend and Schwarzach/Salzburg, was founded in 1993. SAG Austria produces fuel tanks for commercial vehicles, oil tanks and cryo tanks from high-quality, corrosion-resistant aluminium and steel. In addition, compressed air tanks for commercial vehicles and air reservoirs for applications in the premium segment of many well-known automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturers are produced. Lengths, volumes and connection points can be variably designed to customer specifications.

Rheocasting für die Automobilindustrie

Als Systemlieferant im Druckbehälterbau ist auch der PKW-Markt ein wichtiger Kunde der Alu Austria. Viele namhafte europäische OEM's werden von der Alu Austria mit Luftspeichersystemen oder Zusatzluftmengen für Luftfederfahrwerke beliefert.

Abgerundet wird die Produktions- und Produktpalette der Alu Austria in Österreich durch das Semi-Solid-Casting (Rheocasting). Dieses Verfahren ermöglicht die Herstellung von hochbeanspruchten Strukturbauteilen mit besonderen mechanischen und schweißtechnischen Eigenschaften. So werden derzeit neben verschiedenen Bauteilen für den Bau von Druckluftbehältern auch hochbelastete Fahrwerksteile in Serie gegossen.
