What data is collected?
- Videos about yourself and, if applicable, your motor vehicle
- Registration number of your motor vehicle
- Date and time
Why and how are these data processed?
Purpose: Exercise of domiciliary rights, protection of property and other assets. Prevention, containment, detection, investigation and prosecution of criminal offences.
Legal basis: Art 6 para 1 lit f DSGVO. Legitimate interest of the responsible party: Improvement of security, establishment, assertion and defence of legal claims.
Note: You are under no legal or contractual obligation to disclose your personal data. However, access to our premises is not possible without video recordings or licence plate recognition.
How is this data stored?
Retention period: 21 days retention period. Access to the footage will only be granted to a restricted group of people if there is a valid reason and will be recorded. The video material will not be published. It will only be passed on to third parties in the event of legal claims (e.g. law enforcement agencies).
What rights do you have?
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data. Under certain conditions, you also have the right to have your data corrected or deleted. Furthermore, you have the right to restriction of processing, objection and data portability, provided that the legal requirements are met. If your data is processed by us to protect legitimate interests, you can object to this as soon as there are reasons from your situation that speak against the data processing.
To assert these data subject rights, please contact us directly or our data protection officer. In case of doubt, we may request additional information to confirm your identity. This is a measure to protect your personal data.
If you are of the opinion that your data is being processed contrary to the applicable law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling based on the data collected.
