Hydrogen – LH₂ Cryotank System

SAG is driving the future of zero-emission mobility with the development of advanced liquid hydrogen (LH₂) cryotank systems. Unlike compressed hydrogen solutions, liquid hydrogen is stored at cryogenic temperatures of around –250 °C and at low pressure. This allows significantly more fuel to be carried within the same volume, which directly translates into greater range, higher payload, and faster refueling.

Rheocasting

Rheocasting is an advanced semi-solid aluminium casting process developed and industrialized by SAG. The technology combines the benefits of forging, high pressure die casting, low pressure casting and investment casting in a single solution. The aluminium is processed in a semi-solid, dough-like state. This ensures laminar flow during mould filling, reduced porosity, excellent weldability and a very high level of tightness. The result is lightweight, high strength components with complex geometries that can be produced in large series.
