Fuel tanks for commercial vehicles, compressed air tanks and cryo tanks

SAG Austria, based in Lend and Schwarzach/Salzburg, was founded in 1993. SAG Austria produces fuel tanks for commercial vehicles, oil tanks and cryo tanks from high-quality, corrosion-resistant aluminium and steel. In addition, compressed air tanks for commercial vehicles and air reservoirs for applications in the premium segment of many well-known automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturers are produced. Lengths, volumes and connection points can be variably designed to customer specifications.

Rheocasting for the automotive industry

As a system supplier in pressure vessel construction, the passenger car market is also a major customer of SAG Austria. Many well-known European OEM’s are supplied by SAG Austria with air storage systems or additional air volumes for air suspension undercarriages.

The SAG Austria production and product range in Austria is rounded off by semi-solid casting (rheocasting). This process enables the production of extremely stressed structural components with special mechanical and welding properties. For example, in addition to various components for the construction of air reservoirs, highly stressed chassis parts are currently also cast in series.
