Production, Development Center, Engineering
SAG Netherlands is specialized in the development and production of fuel tanks, hydraulic tanks for the commercial vehicle industry (trucks and buses) and storage boxes made of aluminium, steel and stainless steel. As an important Tier 1 supplier, all major OEMs are supplied. The company specializes in the delivery of large quantities as well as prototype production and is a development partner to all major truck and bus manufacturers. In addition to the production facilities, SAG Netherlands also has its own development center and its own engineering department with the following focal points:

Being a leading manufacturer of aluminium tanks and products for many decades lead to much technical experience and deep R&D know-how, made us to an authority the field of aluminium processing. In setting the highest quality standards in our production processes we have proudly received of example the 10PPM award from DAF. That proves that our quality assurance process is watertight, and thanks to dedicated and skilled staff, we are able to maintain 100 % delivery performance.
Beside our engineering know-how and experience in production and logistics our flexibility is what sets us apart. Unlike many companies, we adapt to our customers’ needs, even if it takes more time and effort. In addition, we focus heavily on automation and invest a lot to make our processes more efficient.
SAG Netherlands also operates a subsidiary company in the Netherlands called Aluminized.nl which is specialized in manufacturing aluminium products such as aluminium laser engraving, laser cutting and aluminium welding (aluminium lassen)

History
The company was founded in 1916 by A. Slotboom as a manufacturer of sheet metal parts. Over the years, it specialized in the production of fuel tanks – a focus that sparked rapid growth and expansion.
Following acquisitions by United Parts and later Raufoss, the company was ultimately acquired by SAG in 2001. It became a subsidiary and was successfully integrated into the international SAG Group.
Since then, the company has continuously evolved and established itself as the leading manufacturer of aluminium fuel tanks for the European truck industry.
